After acquiring VIV Labs, it sounds natural that the digital assistant will be featured in the upcoming Samsung flagship right? Developed by the same who created Siri, it could have been something special for the Korean company. Now however a report has stated that this may not happen, thanks to Google Assistant.
The next iteration of Android is 7.1.1, and with it Google is rolling out the much anticipated Google Assistant with this update even to non Pixel phones. Samsung is said to go straight to this version to develop the OS for the Galaxy S8, and because of the existence of Google Assistant, we may not see Samsung’s digital assistant in their Android-powered devices.
