Do you still remember the LG G5 that was announced way back in February? Although it's been quiet, but we have some news about it. First, it seems that there's going to be a LG G5 lite version, and it has passed through TENAA regulatory agency with some tech specs revealed.

Under the code name LG H848, the processor has been downgraded to Snapdragon 652 from a Snapdragon 820, along with the RAM from 4GB to 3GB and the GPU from Adreno 530 to 510. Even though the processor has changed, the dual 16MP and 8MP camera is still capable of capturing 4k video. The 5.3-inch display resolution remains the same as 2560 x 1440, the storage capacity is the same 32GB as well.

Design-wise, the lite version retains most of the original design and presumably works with all the announced modules. Otherwise, the lite version means little if it doesn't work so they must stick to the same idea design of the G5 that they have intended.

LG G5 should be lauching on 1 April in the USA first followed by the rest of the countries, we will keep an eye on the G5's availability for Malaysia so stay tuned for more news at Technave.com!
