Star Trek is one of those sci-fi shows that many in the real world borrow ideas from for devices that we use today. Because of that show, we have made technological leaps in mobile computing. With the recent Star Trek Beyond movie, Meizu would like to cash in the brand as it sets sail to movie theatres there in September.
The external customization looks to be minimal, with the Star Trek logo on the back of the phone, which is done in a bluish-grey finish. The main bulk of the customization seems to be the UI, that we see the Kelvin-timeline Star Trek UI and graphics being used as part of the phone’s custom launcher. No news on the model or specs of the device, but from the looks of it, it may be a Meizu m3 Note.
