We are definitely going to see the follow-up to the Huawei P9 by next year. It is no secret that the Huawei P10 being developed as leaked phoots of it are already flying around the Internet. However there are new features that are said to be loaded onto the upcoming flagship from Huawei.
First, the phone is said to have an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner – like the one in the Xiaomi Mi 5s. This is interesting, as there will be no fingerprint scanner cut-out needed to have it working for the phone. Plus, the leak also says that the scanner will now be on the front of the phone, rather than the rear.
Second, there will be two models of the P10 rolling out – a standard design and a curved design. This is if the renders are true. They could go the way of the Samsung Galaxy S7/S7 Edge combo when released.
Specs wise, we may see the Kirin 960, 12-megapixel sensors for the Leica camera setup, EMUI 5.0, 5.5-inch Quad-HD display, 4GB or 6GB of RAM, and up to 256GB of storage. We will have to wait until next year to see if the rumours will be true, so stay tuned to TechNave.
