Rumours: Motorola Moto E 2016 is the Lenovo Vibe C2

Motorola’s Moto E is the company’s own take on affordable smartphone, but now with Lenovo’s ownership, the brand may just rebrand one model to another to save R&D money.

Rumours are rife saying that the Motorola Moto E 2016 and the Lenovo Vibe C2 are one and the same. The former may be exclusive for mature market, while the former is for other markets, including Malaysia. The model may arrive in two flavours, following Motorola’s marketing scheme.

So far, the specs that is known for the phone includes a 5 inch HD display, a MediaTek MT6735P processor with 1GB of RAM, 8 megapixel read camera, 5 megapixel front camera, and a 2750 mAh battery. It will also have LTE connectivity out of the box, although it is unsure if it will be for FDD-LTE or TD-LTE or both.
