We have seen the Motorola Moto Z being the darling of tech blogs around the world, but then fans of the Moto X should be happy - it is not dead. In fact it just received certification in China. An entry to the China Compulsory Certificate (CCC) hints that the next Moto X is near.

Moto X (2016) is said to feature a 4.6-inch display with a 1080 x 1920 resolution, with the MediaTek Helio P10 MT6755 chipset running the show. 3GB of RAM is installed along with 32GB of on-board storage. A 16MP camera is located on back, with a front-facing 8MP selfie shooter on the front – all with Android 6.0 pre-installed.

Even though it has been registered by the CCC, we don't know if it will be available for markets outside of China – so stay tuned to TechNave as we bring more updates on the Moto X soon.
