Nokia is coming back to the smartphone market, and they are expected to run Android OS on board their devices. Until now we do not have any indication on the device that Nokia will be putting on the market, but a new entry by Geekbench may reveal some clues to their plans in the near future, with the upcoming Nokia D1C.
From the details we can see online, the phone will not be a flagship device – but rather a midrange machine. Geekbench reports an octa-core Snapdragon 430 SoC, clocked at 1.4 GHz, the accompanying Adreno 505 GPU and 3GB of RAM. No news on what the screen size will be like, or any other details. We do know that the device will run Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.
We are rooting for Nokia, as we would like to see the brand be the name that everyone associates with smartphones once again. We shall see how the Nokia D1C will guide the company from now onwards – so stay tuned to TechNave for more Nokia news.
