Dual camera sensor is definitely the trend for 2016 and into 2017, with more companies coming out with products featuring this new technology. Another company that seems to be on the road of dual sensor camera is ZTE, and we have now seen a leaked product from them, called the ZTE Blade V8 – courtesy of the company themselves.

The mid-tier smartphone is set to be launched at the upcoming CES 2017 tradeshow, and looks to have a decent amount of specs that can put it head to head with many of it competitors. The phone is set to have a matte finish metal body with chamfered edges on the back complemented by 2.5D glass on the front around its 5.2-inch Full HD display. It’s powered by the octa-core Snapdragon 435 (MSM8940) SoC with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB ROM. There will be Nougat out of the box with ZTE’s MiFavor 4.0 UI.

The cameras on the back will be a 13-megapixel sensor paired with a 2-megapixel sensor which will be the unit capturing the depth information for the final image. Thanks to this pair, it can add in bokeh effects in camera with every shot. The front camera meanwhile is a 13-megapixel unit.

We will have to wait and see how the phone performs as we get more info from the launch event in CES 2017 in the next week or so. Stay tuned to TechNave for news of the ZTE Blade V8.
