It’s only the first month of the year and we already have plenty of iPhone 8 rumours flying around over the Internet. It’s inevitable, but this is the 10th anniversary year for Apple’s iPhone and someone made a render on how the next anticipated smartphone of the year may look like.
As reported numerous times, Apple seems to be going back to the glass body design for the iPhone 8 (or 7s, 7s Plus), it’s also rumoured that the design will be dual curved, with no home button, and a wireless charging support that doesn't rely on a charging dock. Some folks at ConceptsiPhone YouTube channel gathered their intel and rendered out of what they could gather, and this is what they came out with.
Despite looking good, we think that this is one concept that Apple would not go for simply because it still looks too similiar to the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus just in glass body form. The render concept in the Apple is sporting a 5.8-inch OLED display, along with the dual curved edges, the home button is still present too but according to rumours; the home button won’t be a physical one anymore and will be embedded beneath the screen. Also, the top and bottom bezels are still there as well, even though there “weren’t supposed” to have any. Oh well.
Perhaps the intriguing part of the render concept is the wireless charging, located behind the device there lies a smart connector. Comparing this with the rumours, speculations have it that Apple is working on something far more exciting than relying on a charging dock, developing a “true wireless charging” feature that can charge in some distance.
All of these should be taken with a grain of salt, so do treat this news as just pure speculations. Stay tuned for more Apple news at Technave.com.
