Rumours: New information hinting a wrap around display for Apple iPhone 8

The iPhone 8 is said to be one of the three smartphones to be released by Apple this year. It’s also gaining a lot more buzz than the other two (iPhone 7s and 7s Plus) simply because it’s the 10th Anniversary of the Apple iPhone, and the rumours probably won’t end until the release day. So today, we got some (hilarious) drawing sketches from their supplier, Foxconn about what we can expect.

According to Foxconn, it seems that the iPhone 8 may be getting a full wrap around display. What this means is that there won’t be any bezels on the device, even for the front camera, home button, fingerprint sensor, and others will even be embedded under the display. We think it sounds crazy too, but do take note that it’s not like the whole device will be a display, the metal frame will still be there to support the wrap around display, as well as the standard rocker volumes, power button, and the mute button on the side.

Another thing to notice from the badly drawn sketch is the dual rear camera module, interestingly the camera position is set to be vertically instead of horizontally like most smartphones do nowadays. The black dot in the middle is said to be an autofocus sensor accompanied by an LED flash beside.

Do take this new with a grain of salt, because it could be just a drawing from a kid (lol). Anyway, stay tuned for more Apple news at TechNave.com.
