While we are now enjoying the current crop of Nexus devices – the Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X, the next device from HTC with the name Nexus is now in active development. We have seen reports online that states that the phone will be in the realm of mid-high end of the market.
The specs of the phone includes:
- Manufactured by HTC
- 5" 1080p display (~440PPI)
- Quad-core 2.0GHz 64-bit processor (model unknown)
- 4GB RAM
- 2770mAh battery
- 32GB storage (possible base model)
- 12MP rear camera, 8MP front
- Rear-mounted fingerprint scanner
- USB-C port
- Bottom-firing speaker or speakers (unknown if dual)
- Top-mounted headphone jack
- Bluetooth 4.2
The list looks decent enough, and this is the smaller of the two models – ala Nexus 5X. We hope to see the Marlinfish specs (the other Nexus device) soon enough, right here on TechNave.
