Mobile World Congress is an international tradeshow that typically showcases the best of the best in the world of mobile – and rumours has it that there is where Nokia is going to launch their re-entry into the world of smartphones.

The CEO of Nokia, Rajeev Suri, will be delivering a keynote speech during the auspicious event in late February. While his keynote may not be full of announcement – it stands to show that it will be a great platform to announce the return of the brand into the smartphone world. One of the rumoured smartphone is the Nokia D1C, which looks to be a midrange phone rather than a flagship device.

While we may not see the likes of the old company’s weird and wacky designs – we are looking forward to see Nokia as a smartphone brand to grace our hands and store shelves again pretty soon. Stay tuned to TechNave for more Nokia news.
