OPPO's flagship the OPPO R9 in China is selling like hot cakes, as of today, the device has been sold over 7 million units since the launch and not surprisingly, this prompted OPPO to release a new successor after the phone, the OPPO R9S.
It's said the smartphone would feature a Qualcomm chipset (possibly Snapdragon 652 or better?), the design will remain as the same thin metal body which is one of the R9's highlights, and will come with a 2500mAh battery inside with super VOOC fast charging technology. There's also a rumour that it might pack a dual rear camera.
Lastly, August seems to be date targetted by OPPO. We expect to see some teasers from the company so until then, stay tuned for more news at Technave.com.
