The OPPO F3 and F3 Plus will be the latest devices and they are suppose to come out officially today, but someone has put up the information on the company’s website a tad too early revealing everything we want to know about the tech-specs. It has already been taken down, but as per law of the internet, nothing escapes the virtual space. Here’s what we can confirm about the F3 Plus with the previous leaks:

  • Octa-core Snapdragon 653 chipset (MSM8976)
  • 4GB RAM
  • 64GB internal storage (expandable memory up to 256GB via microSD card)
  • 6-inch 1080p display protected by Gorilla Glass 5
  • 16MP rear camera / 16MP + 8MP selfie snappers
  • Supports dual-SIM and 4G LTE connectivity
  • Color OS 3.0 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow
  • 4000 mAh battery

According to the information from the official webpage earlier, the dual front cameras are used individually depending what the user wants to do with it. The 16MP sensor is used for close-up selfies, whereas 8MP sensor is a wide-angle camera used for wefie. Meanwhile, the rear camera features a 1/2.8-inch Sony IMX398 sensor, f/1.7 aperture lens, Dual Pixel autofocus and a dual-tone LED flash.

If this is the case, then we can safely assume that the 5x Dual Camera technology that we were betting is not going to happen anymore (at least we tried). Anyway, everything will be revealed soon so stay tuned for more OPPO news at TechNave.com.
