Lenovo and Google announced that they will be joining forces to develop a device based on the Project Tango platform. Just as a refresher – Project Tango aims to bring augmented reality and 3D-mapping to the street without the use of any GPS radio. The first device could be a 6.4 inch phablet with a quad HD screen, according to reports online.
Prolific @Evleaks said that the phablet will be labled as the Lenovo PHAB2 Pro, which we assume will be an upgrade to the current Lenovo Phab product. It will have the reported 6.4 inch quad HD display, and will be loaded to the bear with cameras.

Some of the cameras expected to be loaded onto the device includes fish-eye lenses, dual-camera modules and even a camera just for depth information recording. The configuration and arrangement of the cameras are still a mystery at this point of time, as well as the rest of the specs of the device. So stay tuned to TechNave for more info on the upcoming device.
