An unlikely source for news on the latest model from OnePlus, Qualcomm tweeted out that a new model from the company will be featuring their latest SoC, the Snapdragon 821.
In a posting made by them, Qualcomm said that a new OnePlus device "is on the way." They did not explicitly said which model this is but it will be using their highest end chip currently available. What rumours we have right now about the new phone is scarce but reports say that the phone will not look too different than the current OnePlus 3.
The main difference will be the aforementioned new processor and Android Nougat 7.0 put of the box. Otherwise the phone should be similar, which includes a 5.5-inch 1080p display, 6 GB of RAM, 64 GB of non-expandable storage space, and a 3000 mAh battery.
The report says that the phone could be priced at usd 479 - a USD 80 increase from the predecessor. The launch date is expected to be sometime around November 14, so stay tuned to TechNave for more information on the upcoming OnePlus model.
