A few months ago, we have shared that the Samsung Galaxy A series are being refreshed for 2017, and the first model of next year has been leaked, thanks to its official WiFi certification. The Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) is set to be released, well, in 2017 in a couple of variants.
Apparently there will be two versions of the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) -- a single-SIM model (SM-A520F) and a dual-SIM (SM-A520F/DS) variant. The latter has just gotten Wi-Fi certification, which also reveals that the device will probably ship with Android 6.0 Marshmallow, not Android 7.0 Nougat. The specs of the phone seems to be focused as 2017’s mid-range phone. It is set to be kitted out with Samsung’s Exynos 7880 processor, a 5.2-inch 1080p display, 3 GB of RAM, 16 GB of expandable storage and a 13-megapixel main camera. It is also believed that the device will include a 3000 mAh battery.
No dates of launch has been shared thus far, but we will definitely see this model in Malaysia as the current Samsung Galaxy A series family is selling well locally. Stay tuned to TechNave for more information on the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017).
