According to a report, we may just get better images from Samsung smartphones real soon. While Samsung already chose to prioritise pixel size over megapixel count in their latest Galaxy S7 Edge, rumours suggest that they are taking the next step in creating better smartphone sensors for their upcoming flagships, perhaps even the upcoming Galaxy Note 6?

The team that was tasked to create their stand-alone cameras are now being asked to help to develop their next generation smartphone camera sensors. Rumoured sizes include a 1/2.3 inch and even a larger 1/1.7 inch CMOS sensor. Currently, the one in the Galaxy S7 Edge is a 1/2.5 inch sensor, so the size increase will benefit users, especially in low light situations. Perhaps we may even see another Galaxy K Zoom? However, do take it with a pinch of salt and look out for more news on Technave.com soon.
