Such mystery
The Samsung Galaxy On5 and On7 (manual only) appeared on the company’s website recently causing a stir with images, tech specs and others. However, it has been taken down already. But here’s what we know of the On5 tech specs so far:-
- 1.5GB RAM
- 8GB of total storage and a microSD slot
- 5-inch display with 720p resolution
- 142.3 x 72.1 x 8.5mm
- 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera, 1080p video recording
- dual-SIM phone (microSIMs)
- LTE connectivity (TDD and FDD).
- Android (version unknown)
- 2600mAh battery (removable)
The On5 was seen to feature a faux leather back and "an unprecedentedly thin frame and bezel" but there’s no image proof of that now. It’s also rumoured to last 13 hours of browsing on Wi-Fi, 11 hours on 3G. and 12 hours of video playback.
On the other hand, the On7 is a bigger version of it. It’s more or less the same but carries a 5.5-inch display with 720p resolution, a 13MP camera and 3000 mAh battery. Both the On5 and On7’s price tag in India is expected to be around INR 10000 (RM 657.67) and INR 13000 (RM 854.97) respectively. No Malaysia release dates yet, but stay tuned.
