So according to ETNews, a publication from South Korea. There will be two Samsung Galaxy S7 variants for 2016, a normal version and a Edge model, so what’s so special about that? Since it’s just following what Samsung did with Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge. Well, the Korean publication also stated that both Galaxy S7 versions won’t have the same size.

Under the codename HERO1 and HERO2, the normal Galaxy S7 will take the 5.2-inch display, while the Edge model will have the 5.5-inch screen and secondary curved screen just like the Galaxy S6 Edge. And if the rumours from China Mobile’s time schedule for the Galaxy S7 release is true, we might see it in March 2016 along with the new 2016 Galaxy A series (A3, A5, A7 and A9). Meanwhile, in the tech specs corner, it’s said to sport an Exynos 8890 chip or a Snapdragon 820 chipset, a 5.1-inch Super AMOLED display with quad HD or 2K pixel resolution, Android Marshmallow and a Gorilla Glass 5 layer.

With these rumours lining up, Samsung seems to have big plans for 2016. Stay tuned for more Samsung next as we await for a brand new year!
