As surprising as it may be, this is probably our first news of the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active. What's that and is it any better than the current Galaxy S8 and S8+ at all? Or is it just a lesser version? Well, let's find out what the sources have to say below.
Sources say the S8 Active has a few exact same tech-specs like the current Samsung flagships, this means the same Snapdragon 835 processor, 4GB + 64GB memory capacity, 12MP Dual Pixel camera, 8MP front camera. Even the Infinite display is 5.8-inches, but there's no curve at both sides. This is where the spec sheets start to go off trail, the battery on board will be a massive 4000mAh one.
Also, at first glance, it may look like the there's a protective casing on the body but that's not the case. It seems that's how the S8 Active will look like. It looks less desired for sure, but it will minimise the drop impact and it's "waterproof" too.
