To make things a little bit more unique, companies usually feature new and innovative features in their flagships so that consumers will flock to the brand and get one unit for themselves. Samsung may just change the game again with the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8, as rumours has it that it will have autofocus (AF) in the front camera sensor.

AF is essential to photography, especially camera photography. However AF on a front selfie unit is still unheard off, and the S8 may just be the first to feature this groundbreaking feature. What is so good about AF on a selfie camera? For one, your subjects will now be in focus always, and tack sharp when needed. AF also is useful for tracking as it can keep a subject in focus even when the camera is shifting around, The same report also states that Samsung will use a slimmer technology for its front camera’s autofocus module compared to the rear camera’s to ensure that it doesn’t stick out.

What do you think about this news? Will the Autofocus feature be a pull for you to buy the Samsung Galaxy S8? Stay tuned for more news on TechNave soon.
