If you think a desktop experience is only for desktop PCs, Microsoft says nay, and have something called Continuum where users will have a desktop-like feel with when the phone is connected to a monitor. Now apparently Samsung is set to feature something similar on the Samsung Galaxy S8 when it is released later – according to leaked slides.

Samsung apparently is working on a so called "Desktop Experience" for the new smartphone. Apparently, you'll be able to connect your Galaxy S8 to an external monitor, plus wireless keyboards and mice, in order to use the phone like a proper PC as a larger screen can facilitate multitasking better due to more screen realestate.

While the feature is not new, but this will be the first time a major Android manufacturer will have it built into the smartphone itself. We may see the start of a new trend in 2017, as other manufacturers may want to implement this feature in their own flagship device. Stay tuned to TechNave for more Samsung Galaxy S8 news.
