You have to agree with us – while today's smartphones are all powerful and full featured, the act of opening up a flip phone is something very classical and classy. That flip action is something to be envied, and Samsung is set to bring it again to a new device, possibly an update to the Galaxy Folder

We may not see it outside of markets such as China, Korea and Japan, we do hope that Samsung Malaysia Electronics would at least consider bringing them into the local market. The new phone may just follow the same design as the Galaxy Folder, but feature modern components.

The screen will be the same as the original's 3.8 inch diagonal real-estate, with the expected T9 keypad at the bottom half of the device. At the same time, we may see a higher screen resolution, camera and storage options. We may not see the phone by this year, but once we have more information, we will be sharing it here on TechNave.com.
