The culmination of everything Sony into a single smartphone, the upcoming Sony i1 Honami has been rumoured to be announced officially at IFA 2013 in September. Tech specs for the Sony i1 Honami so far include:
- 2.2GHz Snapdragon 800 processor
- 2GB RAM
- 16GB storage + microSD
- 20.7MP rear camera (ExmorRS sensor [1/2.3], Sony BIONZ image processor, G Lens series)
- 5-inch 1080p display (Triluminos, X-Reality image enhancement)
- 3000 mAh battery
- IP57 rating
- LTE support
- 144 x 73.9 x 8.3 mm
So far, sample shots of the Honami's camera UI have confirmed the 20MP camera sensor. It also seems like there will be no huge camera hump like the other cameraphones but will remain thin and slim thanks to Sony's G Lens series technology. While the IP57 water resistant rating and all the other high-end tech specs sound good, our wishlist for the Sony i1 Honami is a dedicated camera button and a good LED flash or double LED and xenon flash.
