After the launch of the Honor V8 in China recently, we have received news that it will not be coming to the Malaysian Market as it is apparently designed for the China market. However a new info had appeared online about the other Honor model that should be going on sale around the world, the Honor 8.

The leak suggests that the Honor 8 will be keeping the same dual camera module as the V8 but will be shrinking down the size of the screen to 5.2 inches – the same size as last year’s Honor 7. For specs the phone could be the global flagship for Honor, as it could feature other the Kirin 950 or 955, 4GB of RAM, wireless charging and an infrared transmitter. It could also adopt USB type C for connectivity.

One of the taglines that is being brandied around with the possible launch of the Honor 8 is that the phone will be "more beautiful". There are many speculation on what this term means in the context of Honor 8. We may see the inclusion of 2.5D glass on the phone - either on one or both sides. We may also see the use of brushed metal back on the phone - last year's Honor 7 was a matte metal finish. We may even see a focus on the camera capabilities of the upcoming model.

We will share more news of the upcoming Honor 8 when it appears, here on TechNave.
