Rumours: Two new Blackberry spotted online – Hamburg and Rome

The Blackberry Priv is a great phone, but the price point to own one is stopping many people to enjoy the keyboard that is traditionally a big hit with power users. The two new upcoming Blackberry phones code named Hamburg and Rome may change that, as they are expected to be priced from USD 300.

The first phone, codenamed Rome, looks like an earlier leak of a Blackberry phone codenamed Vienna. According to reports, it will feature a curved AMOLED screen and a physical QWERTY keyboard, alongside front-facing speakers. Unlike the PRIV however it seems to lack the sliding keyboard feature, making it more like the Blackberry Bold.

Hamburg meanwhile looks to be more of a classic slate design, with a large screen on the front, and what looks like a large speaker at the bottom of the screen. Both phones will feature the Blackberry logo at the front of the phone, and will both run Android. Looking forward to receive the two Blackberry devices in Technave’s lab.
