Tomorrow will be the day of unveiling the Xiaomi Mi 6, for what it’s worth, the Mi Max 2 might even appear alongside it. And just in case if it doesn’t, here’s a first “glimpse” of how the phone looks like.

Leaked in one of Weibo’s message board threads, the original poster claimed that the phone is the “real deal” but for some reason there’s no front view of it. We can also see a transparent protective casing, which could mean two things - this is a very good photoshopped image or the phone is already ready to the point that protective casings are prepared.

Design-wise, it’s nice to see the Mi Max 2 have the back fingerprint sensor and a USB Type-C port in between the two speaker grills. However, the camera looks a bit tiny, though, so that’s one reason to take it with a grain of salt.

It’s said the phablet will be running on Snapdragon 626, 4GB RAM, a huge 128GB worth of memory space, a 6.4-inch display in 1080p, a 12MP main camera and a 5MP for the front. Stay tuned for more Xiaomi news at TechNave.com.
