Right now you can only delete messages – and even that is locally, not on the other side of the conversation. With this new feature, misunderstanding can be avoided when messages are pushed to the other party. At this point of time there are no time table as of yet for the new feature, so we have to wait for the announcement from WhatsApp for the feature rollout.
