The phone that stirred the social media with its crazy design may soon see a makeover. The Xiaomi Mi Mix is a phone that came out of the blue, and shows the world that an edge-to-edge mainstreak device is possible – even if it comes with niggles and caveats. Now the phone is set to receive a new coat of paint – white to be precise.
Photos have appeared online of a white-coloured Mi Mix being used outside of a design lab. Apart from the new colour, the specs of the Mi Mix should be the same. As a recap, the Mi Mix runs the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor with either a 4GB RAM / 6GB RAM paried with either 128GB / 256GB storage, the out fo this world 6.4-inch edgeless display, 16MP rear, 4400 mAh battery (non-removable, quick charge) and running Android 6.0 Marshmallow with the MIUI 8 overlay.
No news yet when this model will appear on the market, but we do not forsee any price increase compared to the black model – so expect it to be priced around 3499 CNY (RM2151) for the 6GB RAM + 128GB and 3999 CNY (RM2458) for 6GB RAM + 256GB storage. Stay tuned to TechNave for more Xiaomi news.
