A new tablet is set to be released by Xiaomi pretty soon, and it is a machine that will be a good pairing for anyone who is looking to get a great productivity device in a slim and svelte package. The Xiaomi Mi Pad 3 is set to be the tablet to have for busy professionals to tote around.

The tablet itself will have a 9.7-inch display – same size as the iPad Pro 9.7. What differs are the specs underneath the pretty looking metal body. It will have an Intel 7th Gen Core m3-7Y30 processor, aided by 8GB of RAM and a choice between 128 or 256GB of storage. It runs Windows 10, and boasts an 8,290 mAh battery as well as a USB Type-C port for charging. On the rear will be a 16 MP camera with dual-tone LED flash, while selfies will be taken care of by an 8 MP sensor.

The device is reportedly going to launch on December 30, priced at CNY 1,999 (~RM 1285) with 128GB of storage, and CNY 2,299 (~RM 1480) with 256GB. We hope this will see a distribution outside of China, and Malaysia will be one of the countries getting it soon. Stay tuned to TechNave as we bring more news on the Xiaomi Mi Pad 3.
