So far in 2017, Xiaomi has been quite quiet but as of yesterday they have officially announce a new smartphone to be launched soon this month. Called the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X, the device is set to be revealed on 16 February (or 14), here’s what we know of the tech-specs so far.
According to some leaked sources, the Redmi Note 4X will feature a midrange Snapdragon 653 processor, backed up by a 4GB RAM and will carry a large 5.5-inch display with 1080p resolution. The battery juice is big as well with 4000mAh, and should come in two variants in 32GB or 64GB ROM.
Supposedly a celebrity spokesperson will be announced on this 8th who will also present a special Valentines Day gift, but a teaser says otherwise; showing up on a Weibo forum thread indicating 16 February is the right date.
