The norm of Android flagship these days is having a screen no smaller than 5-inches diagonally, so for those who wants a smaller device due to preference or even due to smaller hands have to make do with the large devices. However a new leak online may give some hints in Xiaomi’s next plans for their device lineup, with a potential new model called Xiaomi Mi S.

What makes this model different is the small screen that it employs. The Xiaomi Mi S is expected to feature a 4.6-inch 1080p display, a Snapdragon 821 processor, 4GB of RAM, and 128GB of UFS 2.0 storage. It will come with a 2600mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 and will have a 12MP main camera and a 4MP front facing shooter.

To round things up it will have USB Type-C port for power and data, and surprisingly for Xiaomi a single nanoSIM slot with no microSD in sight – but with that 128GB storage they feel that it is not needed we suppose. No idea yet for the official confirmation of the launch so stay tuned to TechNave for more information on the Xiaomi Mi S.
