It isn't a big secret that mobile devices are jumping onto the 64-bit bandwagon. We've already seen any number of 64-bit tablets but it appears that the first 64-bit smartphone from HTC may well be a model going by the codename of HTC A11. Reports indicate that it could be under the Desire branding and midrange tech specs that include:
- 1.4GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410
- 4.7-inch display (480 x 854 pixel resolution)
- 5MP rear camera (no LED flash) + VGA front camera.
- Android 4.4.2
The lack of any LED flash could mean that this is more of an entry-level to midrange smartphone with a price range around RM400 to RM500 or so. So far, it looks like this HTC A11 will reach markets in the USA first under Sprint. No Malaysia release dates or actual pricing details yet but stay tuned and we'll keep you updated as to any new developments.
