SCAND.A projector smartphone revealed today with high-tech projector technology for RM2488

Today, a new device called the SCAND.A projector smartphone has been launched locally by Y.T.M. Raja Dato' Seri Eleena Binti Almarhum Sultan Azlan Muhibbuddin Shah Al-Maghfur-Lah. SCAND.A is a new brand that is not focusing on manufacturing smartphones but rather a technology company that wants to make gadgets that benefits social interaction. It is currently priced at RM2488, there is a RM400 discount for those who pre-order it on their offical website (pre-order page to be updated soon) and a 1-month warranty. The phone will officially be on sale starting the first week of March 2018. Below is the specification list:

  • MediaTek 6753 8-core 1.5GHz processor
  • 3GB of RAM
  • 64GB internal storage (expendable memory up to 64GB)
  • Measures 154 x 75 x 11mm
  • 5.5-inch FHD IPS display in 1080p
  • 13MP rear camera, 8MP front camera
  • Features German OSRAM LED for projection, fingerprint sensor, Dual SIM card slot (LTE X2)
  • Supports Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi 2.4-5GHz
  • Android 7.0 Nougat
  • 4500mAh

Developed as a mini projector gadget, it's not really your typical commercial smartphone. It has all the basic needs and tech-specs for a smartphone, but with an addtional in-built 80 lumens, high definition projector with regards to micro projection technology inside the device. It is also equipped with German OSRAM LED for projection light source with 20,000 hours lifespan.
