Remember the days of the SEGA era? I sure do, but get this - SEGA has launched SEGA Forever which comprise “nearly every SEGA game ever released from every console era”, this includes the Master System, Genesis/Mega Drive, Dreamcast and more. Delivering them to the Apple Store and Google Play Store FOR FREE.
But there’s a catch, though. There will be some advertisements once in awhile in those free games, but there is an option to pay for a subscription to get rid of them. Anyway, aside from being able to play the SEGA games for free, players can save their game progress as usual, compete with friends on the leaderboard, play offline, and perhaps the most retro of all - the games also support fully integrated wireless Bluetooth controller.
So far, SEGA has released five games today and new games will be added to collection every month. The five games are:
- Sonic the Hedgehog
- Altered Beast
- Phantasy Star II
- Kid Chameleon
- Comix Zone
