SPX Express (SPX) launches Bukit Raja Selatan Sorting Centre, a state-of-the-art logistics facility worth RM63.2 million.

For your information, this 30000 square meter facility is to strengthen Malaysia's e-commerce infrastructure, where it is capable of handling up to two million packages a day and creating 1000 new job opportunities.

Moreover, it is equipped with an Automated Sorting Machine (ASM), AI and Internet of Things (IoT) technology, the centre increases operational efficiency by up to 80%, enabling faster deliveries from receipt to delivery in less than eight hours.

Additionally, this move supports the 13th Malaysia Plan's aspirations towards a high-income digital economy, as well as helping SMEs expand their customer reach nationwide.

Besides that, SPX said in a statement that they are committed to continuing to invest in technology and a highly skilled workforce to strengthen Malaysia's logistics ecosystem and digital economy.
