Samsung AR9500T Wind-Free aircon launches in Malaysia starting from RM2399

Today, Samsung Malaysia Electronics had an intimate session with the media showcasing their latest new air conditioning unit, the AR9500T. If you're familiar with their home appliances, this is the new successor to the previous model, AR9500M, and features more than the trademark Wind-Free cooling technology. It also offers an enhanced AI capability for the user to smartly save energy consumption and understand the user's habit. 

The AR9500T is essentially more or less the same with the predecessor. The aircon still offers the same Wind-Free technology with its automatic 3-Step cooling mode (Fast Cooling, Dehumidifying, then Wind-Free), but more improved than before with 43% speed increased. This is all thanks to the Digital Inverter Boost which reduced the time for the compressor inside to reach maximum power, as well as reducing energy usage by up to 73% (and helped Samsung to achieve a 5-Star energy label for CSPF, that's like the highest energy rating achievable in Malaysia). 

We got to test out its AI Auto Cooling Mode. Pretty cool, I'd say (acknowledge my pun, pls)

If you want to clean the filter by yourself, you can simply take off the Easy Filter Plus that's on top of the aircon. It's pretty easy to clean because of the Tri-Care Filter material that keeps out dust, fibres and hairs

Besides the faster and better energy usage, Samsung also integrated some AI capability features such as the AI Auto Cooling mode. This mode can analyze room conditions, user-preferred temperatures and other cooling modes, even the weather for outdoors can influence the aircon to adjust accordingly. All these can be done through the SmartThings app on the smartphone.
