Samsung Exynos 9 Series 9810 revealed with faster LTE speed and deep-learning capabilities

In today's news, Samsung Electronics is proud to announce that the company has developed a premium application processor - Exynos 9 Series 9810. It's the successor and second-generation 10nm FinFET process and it's said to bring the next level of performance to smartphones with its faster gigabit LTE modem and a better deep learning-based image processing software.

With this, the Exynos 9810 processor will allow Samsung owners to multitask effortlessly such as transitioning between mobile apps with faster loading speed. Inside the chip's architecture design, there's an eight-core CPU, the first four cores are third-generation customers cores that can reach 2.9GHz while the other four are used for performance optimization efficiency. To add on to that, cache memory, single-core performance is improved twice as much and the multi-core performance has been increased 40%.

Besides that, Samsung has also integrated neural network-based deep learning and stronger security. This will surely assist Bixby to another level to accurately recognize people or items in photos to categorize them, as well as for biometric system through depth sensing scanning the user's face via hybrid face detection. Furthermore, the processor has three different processing unit for facial, iris and fingerprint recognition.
