Samsung Exynos Modem 5300 announced for up to 10Gbps speeds and better energy efficiency

Samsung recently announced their latest Exynos Modem 5300 for SA (standalone) and NSA (non-standalone) 5G networks. Built using a 4nm EUV fabrication process, this 5G modem promises better energy efficiency for longer lasting batteries.

On the technical side, the modem is sub-6Ghz and mmWave capable with up to 10Gbps download speeds and 3.87 Gbps upload speeds. It also supports the latest 3GPP 5G NR Release 16 standard but there’s no news on what phone or chipset the modem might be used for yet.
