Samsung and AMD's project for the Exynos chips has been put on hold for a long while. Until now, the latest reports are claiming that the Exynos chip with AMD's graphics performance would finally arrive this year. Before that happens, leaked benchmark results have appeared revealing that the chipset made by both companies is able to crush Apple's A14 Bionic chip.

According to the early benchmarks of a first-gen AMD-powered Exynos chipset, its graphics performance is ahead of the A14 Bionic in the 3D graphics performance test using GFXBench. The results were discovered by an unknown source in the Korean community website Clien. It is hard to identify if it's real as no screenshots were provided. Therefore, let's not have high hopes now before the actual product releases.

Back in June 2019, Samsung had announced a strategic partnership with AMD to use the Radeon graphics in its Exynos chipsets. However, nothing has happened from the partnership for nearly two years. Now, 2021 could be the time for us to witness the fruition from the companies as they work together to bring the Exynos chips to another level.
