Samsung Galaxy A06 release - Helio G85 SoC, 90Hz LCD & 5000mAh battery from ~RM564

After being in the rumour mills, Samsung has released its latest affordable smartphone offering, the Samsung Galaxy A06 in Vietnam. Featuring some compelling specs at its low price point, read on to learn more. 

The Galaxy A06 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 SoC paired with up to 6GB RAM and up to 128GB storage. Under the hood, there’s also a 5000mAh battery which supports 25W charging via the USB-C port.

Screen-wise, it’s a 6.7-inch 90Hz LCD with an HD+ resolution and a water-drop notch housing the selfie shooter. At the rear, you’ll find the 50MP main camera. 

Other notable specs include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, up to 4G connectivity, Samsung Knox Vault and microSD card support of up to 1TB. In Vietnam, the Galaxy A06 starts at VND3,190,000 or ~RM564, with global availability yet to be revealed.
