Samsung Galaxy A14 5G Malaysia release: Dimensity 700 SoC and 6.6-inch 90Hz LCD at RM949

Previously, we reported on the release of the Samsung Galaxy A14 in Malaysia and now, the company has quietly launched its 5G sibling too. Packing a few upgrades compared to the 4G variant at a slightly higher price, read on to find more about the Samsung Galaxy A14 5G. 

According to the official Samsung Malaysia website, the device is powered by the MediaTek 700 SoC paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It also has a 5000mAh battery under the hood with support for 15W fast charging via the USB-C port.

The Galaxy A14 5G sports a 6.6-inch 90Hz PLS LCD display with a resolution of 1080 x 2408 pixels. It’s also an Infinity-V display, with the notch housing a 13MP selfie camera.  

Meanwhile, at its rear, the smartphone features a 50MP main + 2MP macro + 2MP depth triple-camera setup. Other notable specs include dual SIM, 5G connectivity, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, a 3.5mm audio jack, a microSD card slot with up to 1TB support and Android 13 OS via One UI Core 5.

In Malaysia, the Galaxy A14 5G is available in Black, Dark Red and Silver at a singular 6/128GB configuration. While Samsung Malaysia’s website hasn’t officially revealed the price of the device, authorised retailers such as DirectD have already begun pre-orders for the device and revealed its price to be RM949.
