Today, it seems that Samsung Malaysia has quietly put up a new Galaxy device on its website. The Galaxy A14 is now live there but there's no price tag yet. Anyway, here's what we know so far about the smartphone.

The Galaxy A14 was released in the US first so most of the specs remain the same. The octa-core chipset is unknown, but sources say that it should be either an Exynos 1330 or MediaTek Helio G80. The PLS LCD is 6.6 inches and supports FHD+ resolution and has a good set of cameras too, using 50MP (main) + 5MP (ultrawide) + 2MP (macro) sensors, alongside a 13MP front camera.

It has only 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. However, you can use a microSD card and expand it further up to 1TB and the phone supports Extended RAM plus function too. Do note that there's no 5G connectivity, but at least it uses a USB Type-C port and the audio jack is present. Last but not least, the battery pack is 5000mAh and it's worth mentioning that it has a side fingerprint sensor.

We think it's only a matter of time before Samsung Malaysia officially launches the Galaxy A14 here. So until then, stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
