You don't normally expect much from lower mid-range or entry-level smartphones. These phones are typically designed to be affordable but basic, with no frills attached. But what if extra value doesn't necessarily have to come at an extra cost?

Samsung recently unveiled its new Galaxy A series devices and is offering more features with the latest models like Samsung Wallet. That's right, Samsung Wallet is going to be available on the Galaxy A15 and Galaxy A25 5G, which are phones priced only from RM999. Here's an overview of Samsung Wallet and why you might want it on your Galaxy smartphone.

Rewards aplenty

So, why use Samsung Wallet over other online payment methods? For the rewards! Samsung Wallet allows you to earn Samsung Rewards points with every transaction you make on the app, for a total of 2000 points per month (up to 50 transactions/month). These points can then be used as rebates for your future purchases on the Samsung Malaysia website. You can also use Reward Points to redeem existing vouchers for GSC, Chatime , Zus Coffee, and many more.

Collected points are valid for up to 3 years, and you can collect up to RM720 worth of rebate every year. That's RM2160 in 3 years, enough to provide you with a massive discount on future generations of Galaxy S series smartphone! Besides that, Samsung Wallet offers double reward points for your credit card, as well as other cool deals like vouchers, discounts, and more.

Stays secured

Many of you are aware that a main concern for digital transactions is cybersecurity. With Samsung Knox, your confidential and sensitive data can be kept safe. Last year, Samsung Knox was added to the Galaxy A34 and Galaxy A54 smartphones. And now, the security system is being added to the Galaxy A15, Galaxy A15 5G and Galaxy A25 5G.

Thanks to Knox, digital transactions you make on the Samsung Wallet app will also be secured. Knox keeps your data protected via fingerprint recognition and encryption, while also keeping your data in an isolated environment to prevent hacking attempts.

In addition, Samsung Wallet is easy to set up and use. However, Samsung doesn't store any of your payment information on the app. Instead, the device merely replaces your card when making payments. You will need to authenticate payments via fingerprint recognition or PIN, making it a more secure way (albeit with an extra step).

Previously, Samsung Wallet and Samsung Knox were available only on the flagship Galaxy S series smartphones. Now, these features are available on more affordable Galaxy A series smartphones with prices from just RM999. The Galaxy A15, Galaxy A15 5G and Galaxy A25 5G also have polished designs, solid tech specs, 4 years of OS updates, and 5 years of security updates. Want an affordable Samsung smartphone with plenty of features? Then you can't go wrong with these three phones.
