As we’ve alluded to previously, the Samsung Galaxy A16 LTE is now officially available in Malaysia. Beyond the specs and features, the company has revealed the price for the device, so read on to learn more.
The only difference between the Galaxy A16 LTE and the 5G version is their chipset and of course, 5G connectivity. Instead of the Exynos 1330 SoC as found in the 5G variant, the LTE version sports a MediaTek Helio G99 SoC paired with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage.

Battery-wise, it’s a 5000mAh cell which supports 25W charging via the USB-C port. Meanwhile, the display is a 6.7-inch 90Hz Super AMOLED with an FHD+ resolution and a water-drop notch housing the 13MP selfie shooter.
At the rear, the main camera is a 50MP shooter paired with a 5MP ultra-wide and a 2MP macro. Other notable specs include Android 14 via One UI 6.1, a 3.5mm audio jack, a microSD card slot with up to 1.5TB support, an IP54 rating, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and colour options of either Black or Gray.
The standout feature is of course the whopping 6 years of Android version updates and security patches support, like the 5G variant. In Malaysia, the Galaxy A16 LTE is priced at RM659.
