Samsung Galaxy A24 release: Helio G99 SoC, 50MP main camera and 5000mAh battery

Previously, we reported on the alleged leaks of the Samsung Galaxy A24. Well, the information from the leak turns out to be true as the device was recently listed on Samsung Vietnam’s official website. 

According to the listing, the Galaxy A24 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 SoC paired with 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. In terms of display, the device sports a 6.5-inch SUPER AMOLED panel with an FHD+ resolution.

While no refresh rate was mentioned, it is believed that it’s a 90Hz display. Besides that, there’s also a water-drop notch which houses a 13MP selfie camera.

At its rear, the device sports a 50MP main + 5MP ultra-wide + 2MP macro triple-camera setup with OIS. Other notable specs include 5000mAh battery with support for 25W charging via USB-C, Android 13 OS via OneUI 5.1, dual SIM and microSD hybrid slot, NFC, a 3.5mm audio jack and colour options of either black, burgundy, green and silver.
