Samsung Galaxy A25 5G release - Exynos 1280 SoC, 120Hz AMOLED and 50MP main camera from ~RM1272

Samsung made a surprise announcement today by launching the Galaxy A15 4G, Galaxy A15 5G and Galaxy A25 5G in Vietnam more than a month earlier than expected. This article will be focusing on the highest-end of the 3, the Galaxy A25 5G which offers some compelling specs at its price point. 

Firstly, the Galaxy A25 5G is powered by the in-house Exynos 1280 SoC paired with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. There’s also a 5000mAh battery under the hood which supports 25W charging via the USB-C port.

Display-wise, it’s a 6.5-inch 120Hz Super AMOLED panel with an FHD+ resolution and 1000 nits peak brightness. It also sports a water-drop style notch which houses a 13MP selfie shooter, complemented by the 50MP main + 8MP ultra-wide + 2MP macro triple-camera setup at the rear. 

Other notable specs include a microSD card slot, 5G connectivity, Android 14 via One UI 6.0 and colour options of either Yellow, Fantasy Blue, Optimistic Blue or Black. In Vietnam, the Galaxy A25 5G starts from VND6590000 or ~RM1272 for the 6/128GB variant.
