Following the launch of the Galaxy M20 which happened this morning, Samsung has officially announced the Samsung Galaxy A30 as well as the Galaxy A50 starting from RM799 and RM1199 respectively. While the Galaxy A50 utilizes an Exynos 9610 chipset with 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage, the Galaxy A30 offers an Exynos 7904 chipset with 4GB RAM and 64 GB of storage.
Both utilize new Samsung Infinity-U notched displays, but highlights include 15W fast charging with a large 4000 mAh battery and USB Type-C ports, features you'd normally not see for Samsung devices at these prices. The Galaxy A50 differentiates itself in terms of cameras as well, with a 25MP + 8MP + 5MP triple rear camera combo and 25MP front camera as opposed to the 16MP + 5MP dual rear cameras and 16MP front camera on the Galaxy A30.
No sign yet for the other members of the new Galaxy A family (which includes the A20, A60 and A90) but for now the Galaxy A30 and Galaxy A50 are available for purchase at the Samsung Experience Store nationwide. They're also available on the Samsung Malaysia Online store with three colour variants to choose from which are White, Black, and Blue.
