Samsung Galaxy A34 5G spotted on Geekbench, features Dimensity 1080 SoC, 6GB RAM and Android 13

The Samsung Galaxy A34 5G has been in the rumour mills for a while now, with the device potentially making its debut in India this 18 January. Well, the device’s imminent release is further solidified by how it was recently spotted on the benchmarking site Geekbench 5. 

The benchmark result, which was first spotted by Dutch tech portal Galaxy Club also gives us a glimpse of the Galaxy A34 5G’s specs. Listed with the model code SM-A346B, Geekbench 5 revealed that the device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1080 mobile processor.

The SoC is based on the 6nm process and has 8 CPU cores, with 2 Cortex-A78 clocked at up to 2.6GHz and another 6 Cortex-A55 clocked at up to 2GHz. Besides that, the listing also showed that the Galaxy A34 5G has 6GB of RAM and runs on Android 13. 

As of the time of writing, the South Korean tech giant has yet to reveal when the Galaxy A34 5G will be released. Well, if it’s already shown up on Geekbench 5, it is likely that the device will launch soon.
